Review an expiring certificate

Follow one certificate from an attention signal to its app context, type and displayed expiry—without confusing review with renewal.

Understand the sample

The demo contains synthetic records only. Its certificate expiry is seeded when the isolated sample database is provisioned, so use the date currently shown in the workspace; this guide deliberately does not publish a changing countdown or a stale sample date.

Looking at the record does not connect to Apple, sync inventory, renew or revoke a certificate, export private material, or change shared data.

Find the certificate

  1. Open Overview and find the Needs attention sample.
  2. Choose Review certificate to open the certificate list.
  3. Use the search or status filter if needed; the sample record is named Shopping iOS Distribution.

Review app, type and expiry

Confirm these fields on the certificate row before deciding what to investigate next:

App
Shopping iOS
Certificate type
iOS Distribution
Expiry
Use the current date displayed in the sample inventory.

The app name, type and expiry shown in the dashboard are the record values. They are not evidence of a live Apple account, a successful provider check, or a completed renewal.

Before taking action

  • For a real workspace, confirm the selected account and your permission to manage the certificate.
  • Check the current Apple procedure for this certificate type and the app’s release requirements.
  • Plan any renewal, revocation or provider operation separately; this demo is read-only.
